The Damnwells
In 2001, Alex Dezen asked a couple friends to record a few songs with
him. Shortly thereafter they would form the rock band The Damnwells. Two
years later they had toured the country, opened for rock legends, and
had a song featured in a major motion picture. By 2004, they had signed
a major record deal with EPIC Records. In March of 2005, The Damnwells
went into the studio to record their first professional album. They immersed
themselves in preproduction, recording, and mixing. But as months passed,
their release date was moved further and further away. In January 2006,
Alex received a call they never expected. The band was being released
from their contract and the fate of the album and their career was unknown.

The Governor is a noir love story set amidst the abject solitude of the sex industry. Tortured escort driver John Dorian has practiced his trade for longer than he'd care to remember. He doesn't mind the sleaze around him -- sleaze is all he knows.
Thrust into working with new escort, Gwen Miller, John forms a partnership with her based on his self-defined 'rules'. Through their dealings, Gwen's empathy and naiveté gradually softens John, sending his fragile world into a tailspin of violent and devastating consequences.

Cody
Brewer has been a lobster fisherman his whole life, which is reflected
in his face from the fifty two seasons it’s been exposed to the
harsh Atlantic Coast. A kind and gentle man, Cody works hard through the
season earning little more than what he needs to provide the bare essentials
for his wife Martha and fourteen-year-old son Ben. Life is hard for Cody’s
family as it is for the other families who live in this town but yet they
all seem to hold decent values and live by rather simple means. The small
collection of unique townsfolk accept and enjoy their simple lives for
what they are no matter how little material things they may seem to have.
As Cody spends the last few days of the Lobster season out in his small
boat hoping for a good catch, he instead comes across a rather strange
and mysterious Sea Moss in one of his lobster traps. It is upon this rather
accidental discovery that his, as well as his family’s, and all
the others in the small sleepy town lives are forever changed. “a
Lobster Tale” is a feel good film, about a father who struggles
to provide for his family, while longing for a closer personal relationship
with his son. Evoking the emotion of films like “ Billy Elliot”
and “Waking Ned Devine” this is a film with a magical sensibility
such as the films “Cocoon” and “E.T”.

drums in a loud in a loud heavy-metal band at night. His only clear goal
at the moment is to get his sick mother, a devout Catholic, to meet the
Pope before she dies. While he’s busy with that, he falls for a
girl who’s totally out of his league and gets discovered by two
Broadway producers for a musical talent that just might be his true calling.
Andy’s a dreamer. But dreaming is easy. It’s reality that’s
hard.

young woman whom he encounters daily at the local diner is similarly observing
him at the same time. When he forms a relationship with the latter girl,
he is drawn into the dark secret of her home-life, and is compelled to
confront a world that he has always avoided.

Cast: Clea DuVall (Heroes, Zodiac), Jensen Ackles (Supernatural), Sean Patrick Flanery (Boondock Saints, Powder), John Doe (punk band X, The Good Girl), Danneel Harris (One Tree Hill), Elisabeth Harnois (Pretty Persuasion, upcoming Solstice), Alice Krige (Silent Hill, Lonely Hearts)
In
this upbeat romantic comedy/drama, artist Piper Jones moves to Santa Cruz,
California, in search of the young daughter she gave up for adoption at
birth. She lands a job at a local sub shop, and quickly becomes entwined
in the dysfunctional family of co-workers: Jen, shy and involved in an
internet love affair; Tish, an over-sexed beauty determined to find that
perfect ten; and the mohawked Priestly, who dispenses advice to everyone,
but is a master at hiding his own feelings.
Balancing out the mix is shop owner Trucker (Doe), an aging surfer with
a crush on the new age goddess who owns the neighboring crystal store.
At times heartwarming, at times sexy and irreverent, the story unfolds
as the friends struggle to find love, happiness, and incomparable sex...
surprises are in store for all, as they discover that sometimes the hardest
thing to be is yourself.
