13th Annual Phoenix Film Festival Event Schedule
Celebrating our 13th year, the Phoenix Film Festival will screen more than 150 feature films and shorts. Attendees will be a part of screenings; Q&A sessions with producers, director and talent; enjoy world‐class entertainment; an impressive silent auction and more.

Opening Night Gala featuring the presentation of the Phoenix Film Foundation’s Visionary Award given to a key contributor to the community. The evening will kick-off with a cocktail party and a Celebration of the Art of Food in the Party Pavilion. With nearly 20 restaurants presenting a food item, it will be a great opportunity to taste some great food. The cocktail party will be followed by a premiere film screening at the Harkins Cine Capri Theatre at Scottsdale 101.

Educational Outreach Program – The morning session is for Middle-School and High-School Students from across Arizona, who participate in a variety of seminars throughout the morning and early afternoon.
Film Screenings begin at 9 am for the public. Enjoy the finest in independent film all day long.
Friday night kicks off the Phoenix Film Festival with Industry Night in the PFF Party Pavilion. From 5PM – 10PM, actors, directors, producers, agents and everyone else working in the Arizona film industry gather to rub elbows and exchange business cards. At 9PM, the stars come out for some out-of-this-world karaoke until 1 AM.

More screenings: Screening films on seven screens at 9 am and going into the night.
Bring the kiddos bright and early to the Party Pavilion for Kids’ Day. Beginning at 9AM, your budding Spielbergs can learn all about what it takes to make their own movie. Saturday afternoon, learn the art of filmmaking from the filmmakers themselves as our seminars take the main stage. Saturday night brings the art of film to the Phoenix Film Festival with some of the coolest and most innovative arts performances. From belly dancers to cabaret, comedians to drag queens, you never know who will be entertaining the crowds at the Party Pavilion on Saturday night. Festival goers can take in a film and a show with the party going until 1 AM.

Film Screenings begin at 9 am and run until 9 pm.
Things get a little crazy on Sunday. Beginning at 1pm, Phoenix Comicon comes to the Phoenix Film Festival with a special exhibit of Comicon’s most exciting collection of artists, vendors and costumers. Stay for the seminars in the afternoon. And while Sunday may be the last night of the Party Pavilion, it’s the place to be at night. With the party going until midnight, you can see for yourself who will win the coveted Copper Wing Award. Local and national filmmakers will come over to the Pavilion for the 9PM awards hoping to bring home the copper. But everyone wins all night because there’s always a hip DJ and a cool drink on Sunday nights at the Party Pavilion.
