With the theme "Find your new favorite movie", our art team, lead by 2014's Volunteer of the Year Marty Freetage, came up with these images based on some of their favorite films.

The Art of Film presented by Cox Communications DATE: Friday, November 21, 2014 TIME: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM LOCATION: The Capital Grille at Scottsdale Promenade

The Phoenix Film Foundation invites you to celebrate The Art of Film at our exclusive Festival preview event presented by Cox Communications

The evening will feature food and drink, music, a raffle, silent auction, networking and the reveal of the 2015 Phoenix Film Festival posters.

Tickets are just $35 per person or $25 for members of the Phoenix Film Society.  All proceeds benefit the student education programs of the Phoenix Film Foundation.

The Phoenix Film Foundation's Film Treasures sale is just like a garage sale, but if you're a film buff, you'll want to be here bright and early (OK, 9am... but come on, we're film people!)

We are going to have signed posters, signed DVDs, office equipment, electronics, and tons of other movie memorabilia!

Harkins Theatres celebrates Robin Williams

good morning vietnamHarkins Theatres celebrates the late Robin Williams with a week-long presentation of his best work at Harkins Valley Art, beginning this Friday, August 15, 2014.  

Fans can come together and enjoy their favorite Robin Williams movies on the big screen throughout the week. The line-up will feature some of Williams’ finest films and includes: The World According to Garp, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, The Birdcage and Good Morning, Vietnam.


Dan Harkins will introduce Good Morning, Vietnam this Friday at 7:00pm. "I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet Robin Williams. We at Harkins Theatres are deeply saddened by the loss of a genuine person and comedic genius," said Dan Harkins, Owner and CEO of Harkins Theatres.


Harkins Theatres will honor Williams by donating all proceeds from the week-long festival to St. Jude dead poets societyChildren's Research Hospital. St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and cures childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food —because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.


Tickets for each showing are $5 and are available at the box office or Harkins Valley Art is located at 509 S. Mill Ave., in Tempe.

Free Film Summer Camp Screening!

Our Free Film Summer Camps are over, but don't fret! Now it's time to see our work on the BIG SCREEN! We will be screening each film and then having a Q&A discussion about the films after each screening. Here's the information you need to come and support our Film Campers:
