Volunteer Search - Promotions Manager

PFFlogo We're looking for a Promotions Manager volunteer to join our marketing team! This person will be responsible for creating an event marketing plan with the Marketing Director. The Promotions Manager will create an event agenda for the Festival Street Team and will manage all promotional item needs, volunteers and scheduling for event efforts. Additionally, the Promotions Manager needs to be able to build strong relationships and communicate with many partners throughout the Phoenix area.


  • Be familiar with the Phoenix area and events that take place throughout the Valley
  • Be familiar with event marketing and event planning
  • Prepare and execute unique, comprehensive promotional campaigns for the Phoenix Film Festival
  • Coordinate street team and grass roots marketing efforts with local market contacts
  • Manage an event budget, taking into account event participation fees, flyer needs and giveaway items (as needed)
  • Work with other team members to coordinate effective promotions and take advantage of related promotional inventory


  • Experience in entertainment industry marketing, show marketing background
  • Outgoing and excited to attend events on behalf of the Phoenix Film Festival
  • Creative thinker
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative work approach
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
  • Love and interest in the film industry
