Whether it’s a movie from my childhood or associated with pivotal life events, movies have a unique ability to transport me back in time, evoking emotions, and experiences. Moreover, movies foster a sense of community by providing a shared language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers, bringing people together. Being part of an organization that promotes this art and offers youth filmmaking opportunities is what attracted me to Phoenix Film Foundation.
